Yes there are only 1000 of these 3/4 Million Dollar Porsche GT2RS Cars in the world. It is a stunning supercar, with its sexy curves, and features no matter where you look. I based the Guitar around the largest feature, the rear spoiler, in fact I couldn`t wait to get to that part.
The design was from a combination of a plan view of the actual car and the lines of a blueprint design.The carbon fibre that runs down the car is to scale on the guitar,and the profile of where the windscreen is, is where the pickups are.
I C.N.C. machined the recesses in the front and back to snugly fit in some 0.8mm carbon fibre.The Porsche badge and GT2RS was engraved and hand painted along with the paint job , by the boys at Southern Custom and Classics in Adelaide.Finishing touch was not only the welded side skirt but the personalised number plate.
The raised wheel arches, i ended right at the start of the light , so the curve would be the top of the headlamps, all beaten and shaped by hand with a sand bag.
If you order a guitar I have never done, and all the thought process for it in the design and fabrication is a first, then you got yourself a 000 model, yep , that`s a prototype guitar.
