The HUB KAT
I started this guitar back in 2012. Every now and again doing a little more to it. I sourced a 1953 Ford Fairlane Hub Cap, I believe.. from the USA.
it has an awesome Delta blues sound about it, due to the stainless cap, and hollow arched back formed on the english wheel. I also placed a resonator cone behind the cap, and drilled holes to let out the sound. The pick up is a Shadow screw on neck pick up, Thanks to Adelaide's blues Legend and international Blues Hall of Fame inductee, Chris Finnen for test driving it.
it is as is, no paint, no thrills, still got the burns from the welds on the stainless.
