Had the absolute pleasure to spend some time with one of Plymouth`s finest blues Guitarists. Vince Lee. Not only an amazing guitarist, writer, and producer, but a very knowledgeable blues and guitar historian. I learnt a lot from him. Here are some clips he did, then dubbed over using the same guitar as well as one of the new 57 Chevy Slimlines. Heading back to my home town of Plymouth in the UK for Christmas. First visit back in 11 years since we moved to Australia.
So this called for an extra special design.
One I have always wanted to make. From the iconic 80s Movie, the 1958 Plymouth Fury, better known as Christine.
It has been hard keeping this one under wraps.
Making a debut in Plymouth, with local blues guitarist and friend, Vince Lee.
This guitar was already snapped up before it was even finished, and will be heading to France to our New European Representetive.
If you look, you will see the curves of the car, the roof and the body.
The Centre panel I CNC Engraved, and had Chrome Plated by A Class Metal finishers in Adelaide, the Custom Jack plate with SHOW ME, CHRISTINE another touch of engraving work, and the two Plymouth and Fury badges i designed and cnc engraved and cut, and also had chrome plated, I back filled the black background. Paintwork by ND Refinishers , Adelaide. All screws have been 22ct gold plated, to match the Gold Bigsby and additional Gold Chet Atkins tremelo arm. The Red Vegas dice matching the Dice inlay neck, and the V Headstock also symbolic on the car.
A special Guitar needs a special artist to design a special Tee Shirt for Alikat Tee Shirts to print.

The Christine Fin, is a prototype, so anyone wanting number 001, I can make another special order, mind you, I sold this one so quick I wouldn`t actually making another for myself...hmmm..
